Spotlight on Bridal Lingerie: The Coquette Bride

The coquette aesthetic is characterized by flirtatiousness, playfulness, and a touch of seduction. It often involves using feminine and alluring elements such as lace, sheer fabrics, ruffles, bows, and delicate embellishments, creating a charming, whimsical, and irresistibly romantic look. Overall, the coquette aesthetic celebrates femininity and encourages self-expression through clothing and accessories that captivate and enchant. So how does it translate to bridal lingerie? We’ve picked out our top four coquette bridal aesthetic looks if this look is for you.

Polish slow fashion brand Le Petit Trou is arguably the most obvious place to start in coquette fashion, and we’re in love with the Paquerette set for brides, though each unique and flirtatious set channels the aesthetic. Light blue mesh ruffles and silk are only elevated by tiny embroidered flowers and a delicate front closure.

Aubade’s Dans de Sens set is a perfect bridal look for the coquette bride with a more classic romantic style. Delicate lace covers every inch of the decadent pieces, available in balconette and plunge styles. The straps feature ruffled lace, finishing each piece with a sweet bow.

Slowly taking on the Lingerie fashion scene is the French luxury brand Huit. Their pieces have a sweet youthfulness, but we’re especially in love with the Boogie Wonderland bra with its pink-white mesh and a tiny menagerie of embroidered florals. A floral guipure trim adds the finishing touch.

Finally, Fleur du Mal’s Whitney set is a stunning silk set in a soft lavender hue. Flowers, straps, and bows make this set the perfect, irresistibly feminine look. Heads up, the brand runs a little small so we recommend going up a cup size for the ideal fit. For even more stunning and whimsical looks, shop our full selection of flirty lingerie below.

As the year draws to a close, I pause to reflect on the incredible moments and milestones we’ve experienced together. This past year, we embarked on a deeply introspective journey—revisiting the foundational question ofwhy we do what we do. When all is said and done, our mission still comes down to you.

As the weather turns chilly and snowflakes fall, it’s the perfect time to indulge in cozy luxury. Whether you're lounging by the fire or braving the cold, these must-have panties will keep you feeling stylish and comfortable all season long.

When the chill of winter sets in, staying active can be a challenge. But the right activewear can make all the difference. From pieces that keep you warm to designs that support every move, layering up has never looked this good.

Lingerie Care

Lingerie can be a tricky thing to care for, especially when dealing with fine craftsmanship, luxurious bras, or high-quality materials that can’t wash with other garments.

Do’s:

  • When in doubt, hand wash with warm, not hot, water.
  • Dry naturally - hang up gently to avoid wrinkles.
  • Use a small amount of Soak Wash soap and gently massage your lingerie. No rinse necessary (Soak samples included with every online purchase). Click the link to view our Soak Wash products available for purchase.
  • Use a reusable laundry bag to keep your undergarments separate from other dirty garments. Click the link to view laundry bags available for purchase.
  • For loungewear, lay flat or hang gently to dry.
  • For loungewear, machine wash on warm, gentle settings. Hand wash advised.
  • For 100% silk products, dry clean, cold wash, and ironing ok. Handwashing may change the luster of silk.

Dont's:

  • Wash your lingerie in a washing machine. This can damage the materials, colors, embroideries, or cause harmful rips.
  • Tumble dry. Lingerie should always dry naturally and be hung up carefully away from other garments.
  • Iron.
  • Dry clean.
  • Bleach.
